Gagaku – Bugaku – Kangen
L’année 2016 célèbrera les 150 ans d’amitié entre le Japon et la Belgique.
A cette occasion, un partenariat prestigieux – la fondation Georges Arthur Forrest et l’ensemble Kitanodai dirigée par Mr Yoichiro IGUCHI – unira nos deux pays pour vous présenter en première mondiale Miyabi.
Miyabi – élégance et raffinement de la cour impériale – a été mis en scène par Ado Huygens pour vous permettre de mieux comprendre et profiter des fleurons de la culture japonaise. Chant, musique, danse, arrangement floral (Ikebana), cérémonie du thé ( Chanoyu), kimonos somptueux, masques précieux vous plongeront au cœur d’un monde mystérieux et envoutant.
Un événement rarissime : partager, éprouver un art qui ne s’offrait que dans l’enceinte des temples shintô et bouddhistes ou au regard de l’Empereur. 12 musiciens et 4 danseurs et danseuses vous initieront au Gagaku. Il vit officiellement le jour à la cour impériale en 701 et connut durant ces 13 siècles à la fois une évolution vers la perfection et un respect profond des rites et de la tradition. Il incarne non pas une forme de divertissement ou de spectacle mais la quintessence du « sacré ».
Afin d’en préserver le caractère confidentiel, nous vous le proposons dans l’intimité de la salle M. des Bozar :
Maître Shogo ANZAI, ancien directeur principal de musique de la famille impériale, occupera la place du chef d’orchestre en jouant du Kakko ainsi que de la flûte traversière ( Ryuteki).

On the occasion of the 150 years of friendship between the Kingdom of Belgium and the State of Japan, Fondation George Arthur Forrest has the pleasure of inviting you to attend the presentation of Miyabi, by the Kitanodai Gagaku Ensemble. A world first.
Miyabi – elegance and refinement of the imperial court – has been staged by Ado Huygens to give you a greater understanding and to allow you to enjoy these special moments. Singing, music, dance, flower arranging (Ikebana), way of the fragrance (Kô), sumptuous kimonos and precious masks will lead you into the heart of a mysterious and captivating world.
An exceptional, very rare event : share and experience an art formerly reserved only to shintô and Buddhist temples and the emperor.
